Request for Prequalification No. 2025-071
For: SIMCOE VILLAGE - WAYFINDING DESIGN & BUILD SERVICES
This Request for Prequalification process is intended to create a list of prequalified Contractors or who will be invited to respond to a subsequent Request for RFPs, Tenders or Quotations for our new Simcoe Village LTC & Seniors Services Campus in Beeton, ON.The Work will include, but is not limited to the following:
Assessment & Planning- Conduct site visits and collaborate with stakeholders to assess wayfinding needs.- Develop a wayfinding strategy that supports resident independence, safety, and accessibility, with special consideration for individuals with cognitive impairments.
Design Services- Produce detailed design concepts and mock-ups for signage and visual cues.- Ensure compliance with the Ontario Long-Term Care Home Design Manual, Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA), and relevant building codes.
Fabrication- Manufacture signage and wayfinding elements using durable, non-toxic, and easy-to-clean materials suitable for healthcare environments.
