Description:
Notice is hereby given that the Ministry of Forests is contemplating making a direct award of a contract to J&E McWilliams and Associates Ltd. Contract Term and Aggregate Value: The term of the contract is expected to be April 21, 2026 to March 31, 2027. The aggregate value of the contract is expected not to exceed, exclusive of applicable taxes $70,000. The Province is contemplating a direct award with the Supplier for the following reasons: The majority of the planned work will incorporate the use of TASS II and TASS III. While others may have experience in individual aspects of this work, we are not aware of anyone else who combines TASS II expertise with such a strong background in forest policy, silviculture, biometrics, and monitoring. See attached Notice of Intent for high level details.
