Description:
The City of Enderby is looking for an individual to clear the snow and ice from sidewalks along City owned properties, and certain properties owned by other levels of government. The terms of the contract are as follows: The term of the contract is November 7, 2025 to April 30, 2026. The service will include removing snow and ice from sidewalks fronting the following properties, as shown on the attached Schedule ‘A': City Hall; City Hall parking lot and adjacent public parking lot to the east; Maud Street parking lot on north side of Cliff Avenue; Cornerstone Garden; Alley letdown north of Cornerstone Garden; Cenotaph Park; Russell Avenue parking lot; Empty lot on the southeast corner of Hubert Avenue and Highway 97A (George Street); and Pedestrian island along Highway 97A (George Street) between 809 George Street and Vetter Plaza. The service will include removing snow and ice from sidewalks fronting the rail corridor, as shown on the attached Schedule ‘B'. The service standard for snow and ice removal is as follows: If snow is sticking and greater than 1/4 inch in depth, snow and ice shall be cleared from the sidewalks prior to 11:00 am each day; If snow fall is heavy and continuous, snow and ice shall be cleared a second time between 4-7pm that day; and The contractor shall notify the City in advance if unable to provide ice and snow removal services on a particular day, so alternate arrangements can be made.
