Description:
This Request for Proposals (the "RFP") is an invitation by the Government of Manitoba ("Manitoba"), as represented by the Department of Environment and Climate Change, Parks and Trails Branch ("ECC") to prospective contractors to submit proposals for shoreline erosion restoration at Birch Point Provincial Park as further described in Section 1 of the RFP Particulars (Appendix 3) (the "Work"). The Work is being done at various locations in Birch Point Provincial Park. Work site location will not be occupied during construction. Preferences In consideration of Manitoba's procurement policies and applicable trade agreements, this Solicitation is limited to Canadian suppliers who have submitted compliant submissions meeting all essential requirements of the solicitation. If no compliant submissions are received from Canadian suppliers, Manitoba may re-issue this tender at its sole discretion. Submissions which propose the use of subcontractors based in the United States will be automatically disqualified. Proponents to bid using the approved product list and/or specifications (which may include US products), however, following contract award the successful Bidders will be required to work with Government and associated consultants to substitute some/all US products (where practical) with those made in Canada and outside of the United States.
