- The Fraser Valley Regional District (FVRD) is requesting contractors with proven capacity,
capabilities and experience to provide quotes for the installation of a new playground at
Shannon Community Park, as well as disposal of the existing play structures in Popkum, BC.
Popkum is located in FVRD Electoral Area D, just outside the City of Chilliwack.
FVRD has an existing playground located at Shannon Community Park in Popkum, BC (see
Schedule B - Photo of Existing Playground). This playground is approximately 25 years old and
is requiring replacement, and the FVRD requires an experienced contractor to remove the
existing playground, expand the existing border, and install the new playground (see Schedule
D) which has been purchased and will be supplied by the FVRD. - Documents:
