  Detailed_Description : Services to Support the English-language Trillium List of TextbooksThe Vendor will provide the following specialized services to support the Ministry of Education-s delivery of the English-language Trillium List and the provisions of the Ministry-s Guidelines for Approval of Textbooks and Submission Procedures for Textbooks for the Trillium List, available on the Ministry-s web site at https://www.ontario.ca/page/trillium-list •Assess the textbooks submitted by publishers and make recommendations to the ministry regarding the approval or rejection of the evaluated resources.•Manage interactions with stakeholders concerning the evaluation process of textbooks.•Provide input on Liste Trillium List processes and evaluation grid/criteria.•Ensure storage of hard-copy and/or digital learning resources that are submitted and approved by the ministry.
  Scope of Work : The Ministry of Education routinely contracts a Vendor to provide a specialized evaluation services that support the Ministry-s continued delivery of the English-language Trillium List of textbooks. These services are explained in detail in section 1.3 Deliverables and require expertise and experience specific to: (i) Ontario-s curriculum policies, (ii) its publicly funded English-language education system, and (iii) the Canadian publishing industry that submits learning resources for the Ministry-s consideration as textbooks. Note: The Ministry separately procures services to support the French-language Liste Trillium (tender_21322), which are not part of the present RFB.The Trillium List contains the titles of all current textbooks (hard copy and/or digital) that educators may use to teach students in Kindergarten to Grade 12 in Ontario-s publicly funded English-language schools. Textbooks on the Trillium List are approved by the Minister of Education. The Ministry posts the up-to-date titles of the textbooks on https://www.ontario.ca/page/trillium-list The Minister-s authority to approve textbooks and publish the Trillium List is established under the Education Act.
