MRF BUILDING - ROOF RETROFIT
Sealed bids marked "Bid for the South-East Regional Service Commission - Solid Waste Division, MRF Building - Roof Retrofit 2023-MRF-01" will be received at the office of the Southeast Regional Service Commission - Solid Waste Division, 70 Enviro Drive, Berry Mills, NB, until 2:00 p.m. on November 30, 2023. The name of the bidding firm shall be clearly indicated on the envelope. Please note that tender submissions via e-mail will be accepted, provided that a matching hard copy is delivered to the Commission within ten (10) business days of the bid closing date. E-bids are to be e-mailed to Stephane Leblanc, P.Eng. c/o stephane.leblanc@nbse.ca and received prior to the Bid closing time.It is the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure the Bid is received prior to the Bid closing time.
In general, the work consists of the partial replacement of the metal roof system of the former Administration portion of the Material Recovery Facility located on the east side of the building. The roof retrofit will also include a new conventional structural steel framing to raise the existing roof elevation to match the elevation and slope of the adjacent, existing roof to the west.
