- Recognizing need for quality, affordable childcare in our communities, Seneca Polytechnic is looking for a licensed child-care Service Provider to lease a one storey building at King campus. Service Providers must be part of the federal childcare program and have proven experience of operating a facility of similar size and scope. The building formerly known as KOLTS childcare, is a purpose-built facility that was previously operated by Seneca as a childcare and teaching lab for the early childcare education program. KOLTS was closed during the COVID-19 pandemic and the building has been maintained but unused since. Seneca will provide the Service Providers with a shell space to which the Service Providers will complete leasehold improvements to make the facility suit their programmatic and operational needs. As owner of the facility, Seneca will maintain the building envelope, major mechanical systems and grounds that surround the facility.
