- APC Information Request: Step one: APC Information Request, deadline February 28, 2025, for renovation of a 40-year-old, 2,500 sq ft main level (plus basement) community hall in the Village of Longview. Seeking: 1) renovation cost quotes for each task and total; 2) timeframes to complete the renovation; 3) summary of qualifying experience: 4) 3 - 6 renovation work references/contact information; 5) confirm if suppliers/contractors have $5,000,000 General Liability Insurance. Some small grants have already been applied for related to the renovations required. These will need to be coordinated with the other renovation work required. An energy audit was recently performed by certified engineers. Step 2 will be a further separate public tender to invite contractors to carry out the renovation work. Quotes received in step one, APC Information Request, will be used to establish the financing strategy and scope of work to be tendered for contract bit, based on the quotes for each task making up the overall renovation. Renovation tasks. a. bring all aspects of the community hall to proper building code standard b. ensure ceiling structure, roof assemblies, rafters, concrete foundations are in safe condition c. ensure building ventilations are to code d.
