Description: Security of Uranium Fuel Supply: a Milling to Reactor Supply Chain Study Synopsis: there have been Several Studies and Reports Completed that Consider the Uranium Cycle in Saskatchewan and Canada at a High Level. these Studies Consider Specific Activities such as Enrichment and Fuel Fabrication Associated with Near-Term Smr Opportunities, but do not Delve in Detail into the Overall Front-End Uranium Supply Chain. this New Study being Sought in this Procurement should Consider the Full Range of the Fuel Supply Chain, the Wider Context of Expected Canadian and Global Demand for Nuclear Fuel for both Smrs and Large Reactors, Evaluate Energy Security Risks for Saskatchewan, and Review Barriers and Challenges of Deploying Enriched Fuel Activities in Saskatchewan. Uranium Exploration, Mining, and Milling is Well Established in Saskatchewan and is Outside the Scope of this Proposed Work.
