Description:
This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the Corporation of the City of Peterborough (the “City”) to qualified prospective proponents to submit proposals for Security Services as further described in Section D.1 of the RFP Particulars (Appendix D) (the “Deliverables”).
The City’s Social Services Division is located at 178 Charlotte Street, in the Charlotte Mews complex, and at 175 Simcoe Street in Peterborough. These adjacent offices connect internally, through a secure, staff only building link, and operate as a single location.
The Social Service Division provides a wide range of programs assisting residents of the City and County of Peterborough, including income services, housing services, children’s services, and homelessness services.
The Social Services office location is open to the public from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday, excluding holidays.
The Social Services office, with a combined staff of approximately 110, will typically receive between 250 - 350 visitors per day. Security services are required to support the safe and efficient daily operations of this location, including protection of visitors, staff and property.
