- Detailed_Description : This RFP is issued for the purpose of obtaining Proposals for Security Guard Services in environments with sensitive populations, such as those related to health, mental health including Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Emergency Department related illness and injury, and Elderly Citizens.These are considered critical services by all of the participating Purchasers; hence the Proponents are required to clearly convey their approach to maintaining service delivery in the event of any labour or other disruptions.The successful Service Provider will provide security services, fire/life safety, building management and parking management as required by each Purchaser-s needs. Hôpital Montfort is primarily a French-speaking organization and as such has a requirement for skilled Bilingual Security Guard Services at their sites.Security Personnel will be assigned to various access control positions, patrol, respond to alarms, respond to codes, and other security functions. Security Personnel will observe and report any irregularities to the designated Purchaser staff.In addition to Purchasers that require regular/prescheduled Security Services (see Schedule A - Purchaser Resource Requirements and Schedule D - Security Personnel Duties for Participating Purchaser role and shift requirements), Purchasers may also require occasional ad hoc security guard services. Ad hoc security services will only be purchased as required by the individual Purchaser.Specific Service requirements are outlined under Schedule B - Service Requirements and Schedule C - Qualifications & Training.
