Description : The City of Moose Jaw ("Moose Jaw") seeks Bids from vendors for the supply of Security and Weighmaster Services (the "Services") The City Engineering Department is requesting the provision of security and weighmaster services to cover all hours of operation of the Sanitary Landfill as designated by the City Engineer, including Saturdays, Sundays and Statutory Holidays except Christmas and New Year's Day. Security Personnel are expected to operate a computer-controlled scale, collect fees, and inspect loads for Hazardous Materials, complete Notice of Violation Tickets, and spotter activities. Security Personnel are required to have basic computer knowledge and to be bonded in an amount not less than $5,000.00. Tenderers should be aware that the Moose Jaw Sanitary Landfill is bound by the provisions of Section 37.1 of The Trade Union Act. A collective agreement is in process and successorship rights would apply.
