Description:
The Government of Newfoundland and Labrador, on behalf of the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development (“the Province”), is seeking qualified Food Service Providers (FSPs) to prepare and deliver the Newfoundland and Labrador School Lunch Program (‘the program”) at the schools identified in Appendix F. The program operates under a Pay-What-You-Can (PWYC) model, designed to ensure that all students have access to nutritious meals during the school day in an inclusive and non-stigmatizing manner. The program includes the preparation and distribution of lunches. Unless otherwise specified, menus will be supplied by the Province and accessed through the provincial school food ordering system. The standard price per meal is $6.00, unless otherwise agreed to in writing by the Province and the Food Service Provider. The Province will be responsible for collecting payments. Approved vendors will be reimbursed in full at the agreed upon price per meal for all meals that are ordered and delivered.
