Description:
The Corporation of the Township of Langley invites tenders for:Replacement of the two Salmon River tributary culvert crossings located at the 24200 block of 63 Avenue.Work includes but is not limited to:• Installation of 27 metres of 2134mm wide x 2134mm high pre-cast concrete box culverts supplied bythe Township.• Installation of 37 metres of 1829mm wide x 1219mm high pre-cast concrete box culverts supplied bythe Township.• Removal and offsite disposal of existing retaining wall and abandonment in place of existing culverts.• Creek and drainage diversion/bypass for the duration of construction.• Realignment of existing Class B ditch on north side of roadway and installation of 12 metres of 375mmdia. PVC pipe for ditch culvert on north side of roadway.• Installation of Sierra Slope retaining structure on north side of roadway• Installation of Lock Block retaining walls at various locations• All works at upstream and downstream ends of culvert, riprap placement, rock weir construction, andcreek bed improvements.• Coordination with third-party utility companies to protect BC Hydro power pole.• Road, curb and shoulder reconstruction• Installation of concrete roadside barrier c/w handrail.• Other miscellaneous and incidental works as described in the Contract Documents.
