  • Detailed_Description : This Request for Information (β€œRFI”) is issued by His Majesty the King in right of Ontario as represented by Ministry of Natural Resources and Forests, Land and Resources I&IT Cluster (β€œLRC”), for the purposes of gathering information about the marketplace in order to assist in the determination of future purchasing options for Support and Maintenance services of business solutions using Salesforce as primary technology. LRC supports seven provincial ministries and delivers digital solutions in many technologies. Solutions are delivered through a combination of internal technical team, Service Integrators and Fee for Service resources. This RFI is focused on Salesforce-s technology stack.Currently three solutions are in production and four are in the development phase. It-s projected that two to three new solutions will be added every year. The solutions are used by internal staff and external users. The solutions are developed with Salesforce-s technology stack and integrated with a number of other technologies besides integrating with OPS Enterprise common components. The solutions are enhanced on a regular basis to meet additional capabilities required by the program areas. The LRC-s solutions are developed by a team comprising of internal team members, enterprise service integrators, and a combination Service Integrators (SI)/Fee-for-Service (FFS) resources.
    Scope of Work : The LRC-s aim is to acquire services of one MSP to provide Maintenance and Support (M&S) of all the solutions and entire Salesforce technology stack. Activities will include:β€’Incident management and resolution β€’Resolving bug fixesβ€’Ongoing system monitoring, reporting and performance optimizationβ€’Platform & Technology upgrades β€’Patch management aligned with GO-IT Standards for the entire managed technology stackβ€’Documentation updatesβ€’Testing support for planned enhancements and upgrades to managed and non-managed integrated applications/servicesAs a part of continuous improvement, the MSP will play an advisory role. The MSP will play key role in undertaking regular enhancements to the solutions in production. This RFI is not to be construed as a solicitation for tenders or proposals. No contract or other form of commitment will be entered into with any Respondent based on responses to the RFI. This RFI shall not constitute an authorization by the Government of Ontario to Respondents to undertake any work that would result in any obligation, cost or liability to the Government of Ontario.Responding to this RFI is not a pre-requisite to receiving or being eligible to bid on any procurement document that may be issued.
