The Region will ONLY accept ELECTRONIC BID SUBMISSIONS submitted through the Region-s Bids and Tenders website for this Request for Quotation. HARD COPY BID SUBMISSIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Bids must be submitted and received by the Region not later than 1:00:00 p.m., local time as established by the Research Council of Canada.BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF WORK - The Region is inviting bids for the supply of all labour, materials and equipment necessary for the purchase and removal of York Region Transit surplus fleet.MEETINGS: Bidders are advised the surplus buses can be viewed on Thursday December 7 at the following location at times:1.8050 Woodbine Avenue, Markham, ON L3R 2N8 at 8:30 a.m. (EST)2. 55 Orlando Avenue, Richmond Hill, ON L4B 0B4 at 10:30 a.m. (EST)3. 18110 Yonge Street, Newmarket, ON L3Y 8V1 at 12:30 p.m. (EST) *Note: Refer to Appendix 1 of the RFQ for the list of buses available and their location.Viewing of the buses and Equipment is recommended but is not mandatory.All attendees MUST:Confirm their attendance prior to the Site visit with the Region-s Purchasing Analyst by emailing Susan.Elkins@york.ca no later than December 6, 2023 at 2:00 PM (Eastern Standard Time).
