Description:
The York Region District School Board (YRDSB) is seeking proposals from qualified suppliers to provide safety footwear, hard hats, safety glasses and goggles, and Coveralls /scrubs for Cooperative Education students across its schools. These items are essential for ensuring students meet workplace safety and professional attire requirements.
The objective of this proposal is to establish a relationship with a Vendor or Vendors for the purchase of the items listed in this Proposal on an as-required basis. This relationship will allow the Board to ensure that we are purchasing quality service at a competitive price, while improving management reporting and reducing material and administrative costs.
There are approximately 5,000 students per school year in the Cooperative Programs that require the equipment for the placements. This is an estimate only and should not be construed as a guarantee; rather it is shown to provide an indication of the potential of this Contract.
Proponents are hereby invited to bid the lowest net prices, including all arrangements and or delivery charges for which the Proponent is prepared to furnish the goods requested herein, in accordance with the guidelines expressed in the enclosed document.
