Description : The project is located at the Sault Ste. Marie Airport in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. The work generally involves the rehabilitation of the existing airfield pavements on Runway 04-22 while reducing the runway width from 60m to 45m, rehabilitation of Taxiway Bravo, Taxiway Charlie and Juliet, decommissioning of Taxiway Echo and overall Airfield Drainage Improvements. The pavement rehabilitation of Runway 04-22 and associated taxiways work includes, but is not limited to: Removal of the existing asphalt pavement by coldmilling Re-grading and compacting the existing granular base of Runway 04-22 Supply and placement of hot mix asphalt Provisional major crack repair of associated taxiways Existing subdrain and catchbasin removal Supply and installation of new subdrain and catchbasin Storm sewer extension Pavement line marking Stockpile or placement of asphalt millings on airport property Installation of runway edge lights Installation of ODALs Installation of Runway end lights Installation of airfield guidance signs And all works both civil and electrical required to complete said scope of workAirfield drainage improvement work includes, but is not limited to: Subdrain and storm sewer replacements...
