Description:
The Town of Wolfville is seeking Proposals to pre-qualify at least one (1), and up to three (3), companies specializing in Trail Design, Construction and/or Maintenance (Vendor(s)) for the provision of trail design, construction and maintenance services to the Municipality. Vendors will be pre-qualified based on the scope of services described in this Request for Standing Offers (RSO) for a one (1) year period with an option to extend for an additional term of up to four (4) years if mutually agreeable to the Town and the proponent(s). The Town may require design, construction and/or maintenance services in relation to: The creation of new trails for walking, hiking, cycling, etc. on Town-owned properties; extension or improvement of existing trails or trail networks on Town properties; trail mapping and signage; bridge-building and/or installation of recreational elements such as bicycle jumps, obstacles and other amenities; provision of instruction or training to Town staff regarding trail and related infrastructure care and maintenance; and other trail-related consultation.
