1.0 PurposeOn behalf of Red River College, SMS Engineering Ltd is inviting Electrical Contractors to prequalify for Electrical Contracting Services to provide an electrical lighting control upgrade at the Red River College - 2055 Notre Dame Ave, Winnipeg, Manitoba. Electrical Contractors wishing to prequalify to bid are invited to submit completed prequalification documents as described below. Project Scope It is intended that the project General Contractor is an Electrical Contractor and is responsible for all sub-trades. This project will be split into 2 phases. The basic scope of work below is not a final list of all. This is not intended to be a sequence of construction. Phase 1: Replace all existing Douglas lighting control devices (room controllers, scene controllers, dimmer switches, occupancy sensors, daylight sensors, etc.) located within all second floor classrooms and office spaces with new nLight lighting control devices (power packs, dimmer switches, occupancy sensors, daylight sensors, etc.). Provide a new nLight Eclypse controller in the main floor electrical room to control new nLight lighting control devices throughout the STTC. The new nLight lighting control system shall run in tandem with the existing Douglas Lighting control system until the existing Douglas system is completely removed after the phase 2 construction is completed.
