Call For RequestRequest No. RQQ-2024-ERNB-872Metrolinx is accepting Submissions for the provision of Design Services for Mini-Platform Modifications at West Harbour GO Station.Metrolinx is a Crown agency of the Government of Ontario under the Metrolinx Act, 2006, reporting to the Ministry of Transportation. It was created to improve the coordination and integration of all modes of transportation in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area (GTHA). The Metrolinx mandate includes delivering the best possible transportation services today while leading the way to an even better, more convenient service tomorrow; making the best possible use of public transportation investment dollars; and measurably improving the quality of life in the region.As part of the Lakeshore West Expansion to Confederation project, Metrolinx is upgrading existing track and signal infrastructure along the Lakeshore West Corridor, spanning from Aldershot GO to the future Confederation GO station. These enhancements are critical to improving infrastructure and expanding GO service in the region.A substantial portion of the planned works are located within the Canadian National Railway (CN) subdivisions and have been delivered through a joint effort between CN and Metrolinx. Portions of the Lakeshore West Expansion to Confederation project impacting CN owned infrastructure have been self performed by CN teams.A key component of this project involved connecting two existing stub-ended pocket tracks at West Harbo...
