- The City of Waterloo (the “City”) in conjunction with The City of Cambridge is seeking a qualified Contractor to provide roadway asphalt crack repair to extend the service life of road networks at various locations within the City of Cambridge and City of Waterloo.
The crack sealing program will consist of the potential of two (2) work specifications, as identified below and described as follows:
Routing and sealing of roadway asphalt cracks by means of routing out the cracks with a mechanical router capable of opening the crack to the specified dimensions, cleaning the crack with a hot air lance and filling the crack with a rubberized asphalt joint sealant.Cleaning and sealing of roadway asphalt cracks by use of high compressed air free of oil for cleaning the crack complete with the warming of the cracks and the removal of some moisture using a hot air lance and filling the crack with rubberized asphalt joint sealant - Documents:
