Description:
The intent of this RFP is to find a Successful Proponent capable of providing the Work described immediately below. A more detailed description of the Work can be found in Appendix 1 (Information).
EPCOR is performing modifications at Rossdale Substation, located at 9469 Rossdale Road, Edmonton, Alberta, and is seeking a qualified contractor to perform the following:
Replacement of an existing transformer pad (TX3) with a new pad;Installation of new transformer containment with high-density polyethylene (HDPE)lines and geotextile; Installation of new reinforced concrete duct banks, must be installed from the new transformer pad to suite new transformer cable specification, including a Protection & Control (P&C) duct bank;Demolition of the existing power cable and control duct banks and construct new duct banks;Accomodating transformer transport;Any conductive structure (permanent or temporary) must be bonded to the Owner-s ground grid during construction; andPerform site remediation which includes, but is not limited to, backfill area and install fire quenching stones.
