- This project includes the removal of the existing conventional BUR roof assembly and installation of conventional Mod. Bit. roof assembly on Roof Areas K, L & L1. This includes the installation of metal siding clad parapets and associated sheet metal flashings, the reinstallation of rooftop mechanical equipment, the installation of roof drains in three new locations and the installation of associated rainwater leaders. The project also includes the removal of the existing conventional EPDM roof assembly and installation of conventional PVC roof assembly on the domed library Roof Area U. This includes the installation of associated sheet metal flashings and protection for the interior space below throughout the work. This includes but may not be limited to protection for all interior finishes, electrical, computers, bookshelves and all other learning resources in the library beneath Roof Area U.
