Description:
This Request for Proposals (the "RFP") is an invitation by the Government of Manitoba ("Manitoba"), as represented by the Department of Public Service Delivery, Capital Projects Planning and Delivery ("CPPD") to prospective contractors to submit proposals for roof replacement as further described in Section 1 of the RFP Particulars (Appendix 3) (the "Work").The work shall be performed in three buildings - Alfred Barnett, Stores and Administration - at the Selkirk Mental Health Centre located at 825 Manitoba Avenue, Selkirk, MB. The Scope of Work includes, but is not limited to, removal of the existing roofing materials, upgrading the roof insulation to meet current energy code requirements, and the installation of new roofing complete with flashings, accessories and fall protection as required, as well as temporary relocation of roof mechanical equipment and existing antennas. The work site location will be occupied during construction.Preferences:(a) In consideration of Manitoba's procurement policies and applicable trade agreements, this Solicitation is limited to Canadian suppliers who have submitted compliant submissions meeting all essential requirements of the solicitation.
