Description:
Detailed_Description : Roadway improvements to upgrade and maintain the geometrics, roadside design, and pavement structure of the access route to the Long Lake Gold Mine such that it can safely accommodate a temporary increase of construction traffic that will occur during rehabilitation and construction works planned for the mine site. Work also involves the operation of two aggregate pits to provide as much aggregate material as possible for road construction and create laydown and stockpiling areas for materials.
Scope of Work : Two full construction seasons to implement the road design recommended to improve road safety in advance of rehabilitation efforts for the Long Lake Gold Mine site. The scope of Work includes:•Full Road Construction:•Improve Sight Distances Along Tilton Lake Road•Relocation of Seven (7) Utility Poles. •Guide Rails•Signage and Traffic Control•The Operation of Two Aggregate Sources:•Road Maintenance•Environmental Protections and Monitoring
