Description:
Consists of the supply and operation of equipment with the minimum specifications as outlined in the R.F.Q. package for the purpose of roadside ditching for a seasonal period starting June 23, 2025 until October 31, 2025. Contractor shall be responsible for providing traffic control in accordance withthe Manitoba Work Zone Traffic Control Manual, including, but not limited to flag persons where required. The Work shall be done on an "as required" basis during the term of the Contract. The Rural Municipality of De Salaberry does not guarantee a minimum or maximum quantity of hours. The RuralMunicipality of De Salaberry shall identify areas of work and provide the required provincial Water Works & Drainage license and survey. Eleven (11) miles have been potentially identified and the surveys are attached as drawings to this tender package. These are not all guaranteed work sites. All workwill be done within the Rural Municipality, on publicly owned property. The Contractor shall excavate from the edge of shoulder towards the back of the ditch and place material on the edge of the back of ditch. Ditch side slopes shall not exceed a 4:1grade.
