- Description:
- Deliver road salt to the Town of Lunenburg for the winter of 2025/26. The successful bidder must guarantee delivery (as requested) during normal working hours - Monday to Friday, 08:00 hours to 16:30 hours. If the delivery requirements are not met, the Purchase Order will be cancelled. The supplier must be willing to have the weight of the vehicle/salt verified by the Town for each delivery. Loads must be covered during rainy or wet weather conditions. Salt is to be picked up and delivered to the Salt Building (113 Starr Street, Lunenburg by tractor-trailer from Windsor Salt-s plant in Pugwash, NS. Note: average usage - 1,000 tonnes/season.
