Description:
The City is now accepting quotations from qualified Contractors for Road Reconstruction. The work involves the supply of all labour, equipment, and materials for completing the full reconstruction of McCann Street and asphalt resurfacing, sidewalk replacement on Sidney Street and, Provisionally, the replacement of curb, watermain, and catch basins on Sidney Street from Princess Street to Dixon Drive
The work items include: traffic control, the removal of the existing watermain and the installation of new watermain including its services and all appurtenances, removal and installation of sanitary trunk sewer and its services, removal and replacement of existing storm sewers, the removal and replacement of concrete curb and sidewalk, full depth asphalt removal, road base excavation, topsoil and sod, supply and placement of Type II Limestone Granular A & B, hot mix asphalt paving, line painting, and rock excavation.
