Description: City of Melfort Works& Utilities Department Road Gravel Tender the City of Melfort will Accept Sealed Tenders up until 2:00 D.M. Friday, Dec. 2.2022 to Supply 3,000 Cubic Yards of Crushed Road Aggregate at the City Storage Site. the Aggregate Shall Comply with the Following Speciications: the Aggregate Shall be Composed of Clean, Tough, Durable Rock, Free from Injurious Quantities of Soft or Fiaky Particles, Organlc or other Deleteious Materlal. the Sleve Specihications are as Follows: Sieva Sze Percentage Passing 100% 19.0 12.5 Mm -80% 60 40- 60% 20- 30% Mm .0 Mim 2.0 Mm 8-1 15% 10% 800 Um 400 160 5-1 2-4 0-3 Um Um a Plasticity Index From0-7 will be Allowed. Anything above that will be Rejected a Minimum of 50% - 100% of the Materlal Retalned on the 5.0 Mm Screen Shall have One Crushed Face. Lowest or any Tender not Necessarily Accepted. Tenders will be Awarded on an Indlvldual Dasis. Samples of Aggregate Must be Approved in Contractor\'S Stockplle Prior to Delivery. Hauling will not Start until a Sample can be Tested to Ensure Compliance with Sleve Analysls and Approved. the First Sieve Analysis will be Covered by the City. Subsequent Testing Ls the Contractor\'S Responsibility. Bllng Wll be Made after January 12023. 100%% of the Product Must be Delivered before June 1, 2023. Stockplling will be Done by City.
