Description:
The R.M. of Bone Creek No. 108 is accepting tenders for clay cap and re-build on two miles of grid road located at E.13-24-11-17 & E.24-11-17 W3M. SEALED TENDERS, marked “Road Construction - Contractor-s Legal Name” will be received at the R.M. office, or electronically submitted to rmbc@sasktel.net, or by fax 306-297-6270 until 4:00 p.m. on Monday, May 5th, 2025. No tenders received after this time will be considered. The lowest of any tender may not necessarily be accepted. The Rural Municipality further reserves the right to reject any or all tenders. A summary of work is as follows: Approximately one mile of clay capping, and one mile of re-build. Adding two feet of road width for a total of 8 meters minimum standard road construction and 10 inches to 12 inches of clay cap on road surface, 4:1 slopes. All clay for road construction is located in fields directly along side of road construction. Topsoil is to be removed and stockpiled and once the road project is complete it is to be placed back in fields. The contractor shall install Combigrid beneath all subcut areas as directed by the Foreman. The Contactor shall supply the Combigrid material. Must be Combigrid 30/30 or equivalent. Replacement of 6 - 450mm culverts. There are 4 new culverts in place that will need to be worked around. All culverts supplied by the R.M. of Bone Creek No. 108. 200 cubic yards per mile of 1 ¼” gravel to be incorporated, and 200 yards per mile of ¾” road gravel to top dress and complete the road project. Gravel is supplied by the R.M. of Bone Creek No. 108.
