- The R.M. of La Broquerie requires quotes on our Gravel Maintenance Program. The Municipality will be separated into 5 sections. Gravelling will take place between June 2026 to September 2026, weather permitting. A map of the Municipality along with the separated sections is attached. The Municipality asks that all sections that are of interest be filled out with the quoted unit price per tonne on the estimated quantities of “A” base and traffic granular material. In order to quote on the Gravel Maintenance Program, you should meet the requirements below. Please read all information in order to achieve a controlled and efficient service throughout the Municipality.Requirements: A minimum of three belly-dump trailers will be required. All belly-dump trailers shall be equipped with the ability to close under load. “A” Base and traffic gravel granular material used must meet Manitoba Transportation and Infrastructure (MTI) Specifications (attached). Prior to hauling any material to the road, the stockpiled material shall be tested for gradation by an independent lab. The Contractor will provide the Public Works Manager ten (10) days notice. Hauling to the road will be permitted provided it meets MI specifications. Stockpiled sites shall be free of noxious weeds such as purple loosestrife and Red Bartsia. All material must be scaled by an approved scale and weigh slip must be handed into the Gravel Checker at the location of the gravelling. The Municipality has the right to reject...
