• Description:
• The Municipality of Casselman is seeking bids from qualified HVAC contractors to supply and install a new replacement York Rooftop Unit (RTU) currently installed at ground level at the Arena Complex servicing the Community Hall.
  The existing RTU has reached the end of its useful life and requires replacement to ensure reliable heating, cooling, and ventilation services for municipal operations and public users. This unit is one of two ground-mounted systems responsible for providing climate control to the Community Hall.
  The Community Hall also serves as a designated emergency reception and evacuation centre during emergency situations, making the reliability of its mechanical systems essential to public safety and community resilience.
  This project aligns with the Municipality-s commitment to maintaining safe, efficient, and reliable community infrastructure.
  The successful bidder will be responsible for providing a complete solution, including supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of the RTU system in accordance with applicable codes and standards.
  Bidder must provide a base bid for the supply and installation of an RTY that matches the existing York unit in capacity, performance, and configuration to ensure compatibility with the current mechanical systems.
  The Municipality will also consider alternate proposed solutions. Bidders may submit an optional alternate bid for a unit that is:
  Comparable or superior in performance, efficiency or reliability.
  Suitable for the existing space and installation constraints; and
  Fully compliant with all applicable codes, standards, and operational requirements.
  Any proposed alternate must include:
  Detailed technical specifications.
  Documentation demonstrating equivalency or improvement over the existing unit;
  Any required modifications to accommodate the alternate system; and
  Associated costs (Labour, materials, commissioning, etc.).
