The ferry operates from mid-April to mid-December transporting vehicle traffic across Lake Diefenbaker near Riverhurst Saskatchewan when the lake is not frozen. The ferry currently uses a diesel-hydraulic propulsion system to power a cable winch that pulls the ferry across the lake.This opportunity is subject to copyright.
