• Description:
• The Board is seeking the services of a pre-qualified Architectural Firm to provide architectural and consulting services including Design Development, assistance with Contract Documents & Tender development, and Construction & Contract Administration for the renovations as further specified herein.
  The Successful Bidder will be required to design and administer the construction of the following scope.
  The Primary Objective is to improve site circulation for buses, passenger vehicles and pedestrians.
  The Secondary Objective is to improve accessibility in the school
  The Scope is:
  New asphalt areas for improved traffic flow, bus lane, drop-off lane and parking.Expand lot for parkingImprove flow controlAdd barrier free parkingReplace existing asphalt play area.Left side of school and square upKeep existing portable padNew concrete sidewalks at front entrance and to complement new asphalted areas.If ramp beside the flagpole can be kept, reuse stainless steel railingNew chain link fencing as required.New parking lot lighting if required.New roadside pylon sign with digital display.Renovate existing washroom to meet minimum Ontario Building Code
  requirements for universal washrooms.
  BF Washroom to be converted to Universal WashroomReplace existing exterior doors with barrier free doors c/w new BF hardware.x 3 entrancesAlter existing admin office/vestibule wall and doors to reduce heat loss and improve function of office. Enclose vestibule/admin wall up to ceilingAdd glazed door to admin entrance after second vestibule door that will be relocated closer to the main entrance doorReplace existing fire alarm with new barrier free fire alarm.
