Description:
This Request for Supplier Qualifications (“RFSQ”) is an invitation by the Corporation of the County of Northumberland (the “County”) to prospective respondents to qualify for eligibility to provide Property Development Services as further described in in the RFSQ document
Northumberland Workforce Housing Corporation (NWH) is seeking to develop and maintain a list of Pre-Qualified Builders/Developers for the Northumberland Workforce Housing Program to partner with for project builds for attainable & affordable housing options within Northumberland County, over the next 1-5 years.
The NWH program is a new program owned by the County of Northumberland, striving to build attainable & affordable housing options for working families to achieve their goals of homeownership in Northumberland County. The NWH program provides down payment funding for applicants to assist with their home purchase while the applicant receives mortgage financing from one of our banking partners.
The County is conducting this RFSQ process on behalf of NWH. The prequalification process is intended to identify firms that have proven qualifications and project experience to create a roster that the NWH can utilize for property development services on an as needed basis (the “Qualified Supplier Roster”).
