Description : In the 2022 budget, the Provincial Government announced its intention to create a single Provincial Health Authority for Newfoundland and Labrador. Re-imagining our health system was recommended by Health Accord NL to help improve health and health outcomes. Newfoundland and Labrador Health Services became effective April 1, 2023. The previous four (4) regional health authorities Eastern Health, Central Health, Western Health, Labrador Grenfell Health, and Newfoundland and Labrador Centre for Health Information (NLCHI) restructured into one Provincial Health Authority. NLHS is seeking proposals on Innovation Partnerships as listed in accordance with the description and specifications as set out in Schedule “A”. This will establish a new list of vendors of record that was created by Eastern Health in 2018/2019 and refreshed in April 2021. Contracts in place with existing vendors of record for medical device design and implementation or application and software development and implementation will not be impacted should existing vendors of record decide not to respond to this request for qualifications.
