RRC Polytech is improving the quality of its data analytics capabilities required for strategic and operational planning and institutional reporting. We have identified areas where enhanced resourcing and skill would increase our capability and velocity.The College is integrating student enrolment,progression, and financial information from disparate systems into a data and analytics environment to support areas including Strategic Enrolment Management (SEM), capacity planning, student success, and course renewal.This initiative will ensure consistency and reliability of the data, supportlongitudinal reporting, and the ability for advanced analytics. Challenges relating to data consistency, data integrity, and data definitions must be addressed through various means including improving business processes, work with data definitions, data governance, and data transformation.Buildinga relationship with a vendor who understands our industry and challenges deeply and can support us long term is important for our success.
