Description:
This Request for Quotations (the “RFQ”) is an invitation by the Corporation of the County of Northumberland (the “County”) to prospective respondents to submit non-binding quotations for Structural Lining of Culvert 025213, as further described in the bid documents.
The Successful Bidder shall provide all labour, equipment, materials and supervision necessary to complete the work as described in the Annex A - Special Provisions, Annex B - Construction Drawings, Annex C - Geotechnical Investigation Report, and Annex D - Lower Trent Conservation Authority Permit which have been provided as separate attachments in the online bidding system.
The County of Northumberland is seeking quotations for the structural relining of culvert 025213, located in Warkworth, Ontario on County Road 25, approximately 0.3 km north of Grant Road. The existing culvert is a structural plate CSP culvert with a diameter of 2.2m that was constructed circa 1970.
The proposed scope of work is anticipated to include the following:• Lining the culvert with a spray-applied polymer lining• Installation of dewatering methods• Installation of environmental and watercourse protection• Installation of waterbody aggregates for erosion control
