Summary Details:
Forestry Innovation Investment Ltd. (FII) manages approximately $23 million on behalf of the Government of British Columbia and Natural Resources Canada to support programs and initiatives integral to achieving objectives central to the Forest Investment Account and the Province's Strategic Plan. FII is committed to ensuring that investments optimize BC's ability to improve international competitiveness and increase the level of benefit derived from the Crown's forest resource.
FII invests a considerable portion of its Market Initiatives and Wood First Programs funds into joint industry cost shared projects. These projects are delivered by industry associations, research institutes, post- secondary institutions, or government Ministries. In order to ensure full coverage of the audit program, FII is seeking to select a professional audit firms or teams of individuals to provide optimal value in carrying out the audit assignments.
