Summary Details:
BC Transit is a Crown Corporation of the Province of British Columbia responsible for coordinating the delivery of transit services in the Province outside the Metro Vancouver area. Its mandate includes marketing, planning, funding, constructing and operating, either directly or indirectly, in over 130 communities throughout the province.
As part of BC Transit's bus information for bus route schedules, Rider Guides are placed on buses and available at BC Transit locations throughout the Province. BC Transit Marketing is responsible to produce Rider's Guides as well as other public information products for each of its transit systems.
Interested Vendors are invited to submit a Response to this RFQ for the opportunity to be evaluated and determined whether they are eligible to be added to BC Transit's list of Qualified Suppliers for Printing Services.
The Services include printing Rider's Guides for up to 81 transit systems throughout British Columbia using heat set web press or sheet fed processes. The Services are described in greater detail in section 5.
