Description:
It is the intent of the British Columbia Housing Management Commission (“BC Housing”) to conduct a two-stage solicitation process initiated with this Request for Pre-qualification (“RFPQ”). A second solicitation will be issued to only those successful Respondents that are prequalified. This RFPQ is an invitation by BC Housing to prospective Respondents to submit Responses to become pre-qualified to participate in a solicitation for the supply of Construction Management Services for Complex Care Housing (CCDC5B Contract), as further described in tender documents.

The proposed building will be a 20-unit complex care housing with enhanced health, mental health and substance use services to support people with complex mental health and substance use issues. The building will be a Wood-frame/concrete (concrete substructure and wood superstructure) building that provides 20 studio units and service area supporting the operation program, such as common lounge, commercial kitchen, reception, safety check vestibule at entry, medication and clinic rooms, offices, etc. Each unit will include full bathroom, kitchenette (sink and fridge only, rough in ready for cook top) with a mix of units to be determined by BC Housing and Prime Consultant / Architect.
