This Request for Proposals ("RFP") is an invitation by Simon Fraser University ("SFU") to prospective proponents to submit proposals for the provision of Contractor services for SFU Shell House Residence Roof Replacement Project #.
Shell House Residence was built in 1967 and is currently the oldest student residence building at the SFU Burnaby campus. The building is 4 storeys and houses up to 130 students in private bedrooms with shared washrooms and kitchen facilities. The building enclosure is primarily composed of pre-cast and poured-in-place concrete as well as aluminum-framed windows and doors. The primary roof assembly is an inverted, low-slope roof assembly
