Summary Details:
This Request for Proposal ("RFP") is being issued to identify a Proponent(s) to enter into a non-exclusive Contract(s) between the Proponent(s) and Health Authorities, through their collective agent the Provincial Health Services Authority ("PHSA"), for the supply of a Specialty Surgical Video Systems ("Products and Service") as described in Appendix I [Specifications] to the facilities listed in Appendix B [List of Participating Health Authority Facilities].
Video towers, also known as video carts are used for minimally invasive surgeries supporting different scope requirements including flexible scope gastrointestinal, gynecological, ENT procedures or rigid scope arthroscopy and laparoscopy. Clarity of live images and preciseness of image is paramount and therefore keeping scalable, upgradable, backward and forward compatibility is essential.
This RFP covers video tower equipment further described as In-Scope below will be utilized in procedures such as general surgery, obstetric/gynecologic, orthopedic, thoracic and urologic procedures as well as in other specialties for which minimal invasive surgery is feasible.
