Description:
This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the Corporation of the County of Northumberland (the “County”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for Northumberland County Housing Corporation Cleaning Program, as further described in the bid documents.
The Northumberland County Housing Corporation (NCHC) is seeking proposals from qualified service providers to provide cleaning services to support NCHC tenants with unit deep cleans.
The Northumberland County Housing Corporation (NCHC) is a community housing provider with over 373 owned and operated housing units throughout Northumberland County located in Port Hope, Cobourg, Colborne, Brighton, and Campbellford. The NCHC provides rent-geared-to-income (RGI) and affordable rental options to low to moderate income households in Northumberland. There are a growing number of tenants who are aging at home, who have challenges with mobility, or who have other presenting issues compounding their ability to keep their unit clean. Some tenants may experience challenges that result in an increased level of vulnerability for some eligible participants (Example: tenants with developmental, mental health, substance use concerns, or physical mobility challenges).
