SFU has diverse needs that include:
· Lab coats for use in Research and Teaching labs
· Cotton, cotton-poly, and fire & chemical resistant (e.g. Nomex)
· Primarily white, but in some instances lab instructors may want colours
· Elastic or snap cuff (no open cuffs)
· Snap front closure (to allow rapid removal in an emergency)
· At least one pocket
· Non-continuous rental (i.e. set of student lab coats required only 1 quarterly semester per year)
· Purchase (twice annual Chemistry student society)
· Ability to wash and track SFU purchased garments
· Sizing from XS to 2XL
· Weekly service to multiple locations at each of Surrey and Burnaby campus
· Additional rental textiles, as requested by departments (i.e. Scrubs, Medical Gowns, and Towels)
SFU prefers:
· garments that leave for washing should be returned the next week.
