SkwlΔx te SecwepemcΓΊΔΊecw has long been established as a progressive and business forward Nation, exemplified by the establishment of Quaaout Lodge in 1993 which still continues to successfully operate today. Over the past 5 years with things such as; the Covid-19 Pandemic, Global Warming, other economic and market changes, and the 2023 Bush Creek Wildfire that devastated the SkwlΔx te SecwepemcΓΊΔΊecw community, the Nation has the opportunity and desire to take a βstep back- and revaluate the variety of Economic Development opportunities it should be considering. The Nation is looking to take an analytical approach, utilizing data with focus more so from the last 5-8 years, to produce a future facing outlook, options and recommendations to better inform or adjust the Nation-s Economic Development Plans. There is an anticipated budget of $20,000 - 40,000 for the completion of this analysis and the subsequent deliverables.
