Audit Services
Summary Details:
The purpose of this Request for Proposals is to invite audit firms to submit proposals for auditing the Financial Statements and Performance Report of the Public Guardian and Trustee of British Columbia (PGT) as set out in the Public Guardian and Trustee Act, s. 25-26. The three audit components that must be addressed on an annual basis are:
1. Financial audit of the financial statements of Trusts and Estates Administered by the PGT;
2. Financial audit of the financial statements of the PGT Operating Account; and
3. Performance audit of the Performance Report of the PGT.
Proponents must submit a proposal for all three audit components.
The services may not be subcontracted out by the successful Proponent.
The term of this Agreement will commence upon Agreement signing and end September 30, 2025. The first of the four fiscal years to be audited will be the year ending on March 31, 2022. The PGT will have the right, at its sole discretion, to extend the term of the Contract for two (2) additional twelve (12) month terms. If the PGT chooses to extend the term, the price may be negotiated between the PGT and the successful Proponent prior to extending the term.
