Headquartered in Edmonton, Alberta, EPCOR Water Services Inc. (“EPCOR”) provides quality water and wastewater services to over 50 communities and counties across Western Canada. Through a wholly-owned subsidiary, EPCOR also provides quality water and wastewater services to communities located in the Southwestern United States. EPCOR-s water products and services are concentrated in three areas: retail water sales, wholesale water sales and commercial services.
Edmonton's first water treatment plant was constructed at Rossdale in 1903. In 1996, Edmonton Water was incorporated as a separate legal entity, renamed Aqualta Inc., and began managing the City of Edmonton's Water Branch assets. In 1998, these assets were transferred to EPCOR Utilities Inc., and in 1999 the company became EPCOR Water Services Inc.
RFP Overview While this Request for Proposal (“RFP”) is issued by EPCOR, all services, equipment, prices, terms and conditions, presentations and promotional materials contained in any submission (the “Reply”, as defined below) may, at EPCOR-s sole discretion, apply to any or all of the EPCOR Entities (as defined below).
The intent of this RFP is to find a Successful Proponent(s) capable of providing the Work described immediately below. A more detailed description of the Work can be found in Appendix 1 (Information).
